Company History
Originally established in 1961 as “Art Millsap Farm Distributor” the company began distributing BA (British American Oil) products with the head, and only, office in Kenaston, SK. This small town family-run business operated one fuel truck out of one office under the same name for close to ten years.

In the early 1970's, the company incorporated under the guidance of Art’s son, Gus, and changed the operating name to “Millsap Holdings Ltd”. That year Gulf Oil bought out BA and Millsap continued with Gulf Canada.
During the early 1980s, Gulf Oil encouraged amalgamations. This occurred when one distributor left a territory an existing distributor would assume their operation(s) and combine them. As a result, our organization acquired Hawarden in 1983 and our fleet grew to two units. Two years later, Davidson/Girvin and Elbow areas became part of the Millsap operation and our fleet grew to three fuel delivery trucks. In 1986, Petro-Canada acquired Gulf Oil Canada and our brand changed once again. In 1995, Millsap Holdings expanded further. With the addition of the Kindersley and Rosetown service areas, our fleet grew to six fuel delivery units. To better reflect our new trade area, our name was changed to “West Central Petroleum”.

In 2003 the corporate office moved to Saskatoon and the operating name changed to Millsap Fuel Distributors Ltd. Our service area expanded to where we are today.
In 2008, our lubricant division underwent a major expansion and re-organization. A warehouse was constructed behind our main office on Ave. P in Saskatoon. The expansion of our facility, product lines and service offerings required further additions to our team and fleet to provide the high quality services people have grown to expect from Millsap Fuel Distributors.
A change of ownership occurred in March, 2017 when Adam Dennis (Operations Manager) and Pat Boehm (General Manager) purchased the company from Gus Millsap. Under their leadership, Millsap Fuel Distributors operates a total of sixteen bulk and cardlock locations, maintains a fleet of over thirty fuel/lubricant delivery trucks, and employs over sixty people during peak season.
